What is this site?

This is a website dedicated to sorting retellings into searchable categories. Sometimes you're in the mood for a certain type of retelling, and as someone who's enjoyed a lot of retellings in my life, I will endeavor to help you find just the sort of retelling that you'd like to read, watch, or play. I will feature retellings of all public domain works, including fairy tales, classic novels, cultural mythologies, legends, tall tales, Shakespearean plays, or historical events. I will also feature all media, be it books, movies, or video games. The only limiting factor is that it must be a retelling that I have, myself read, watched, or played.

Please note: I have only recently begun this site, and I plan to add the retellings over time, so don't be discouraged by the currently limited selection!
